WHO: The clinic will have three streams to accommodate all levels.
A) Novice Stream: People just starting the sport who need help in 1 or more of the three events. You will likely take “how to” technical sessions and seminars.
B) Intermediate Stream: People who have done the sport for a while, who may still have an area or two where they are weak, but who have a priority of learning how to not just finish the races, but to go faster. You will likely take a combination of “how to for your real weakness” and some speed sessions in areas to help you race faster. You may also take a seminar or two.
C) Long Distance Training Stream: This stream are for people who are relatively skilled in the three areas and who would like to have a very long quality training day with PB coaches. You are able to modify the day from just training and take a session or two to spruce up your skill level or a seminar to help you. Lastly, PB has the option for you to come in on Friday afternoon for 3-4 hours of training with Sean/Nat and the coaches and or/Stay over on Saturday evening and do another big-training day on Sunday. We are essentially giving this stream the options of Saturday (like the Novice and Intermediate Streams) or extend the training by either coming in on Friday afternoon (to train with the coaches and/or staying over till Sunday and training all day as well).
WHAT: Elite and international coaches, athletes and academics will be available for the one major kick-off day of 2010. Fine tune or learn, all you need to know for the 2010 season with the incredibly talented coaching staff at McMaster University. For those who are already well versed in training, join the training stream for the day (or add in Fri and Sunday and make a MEGA weekend).
